Terms & Conditions
Last updated 27 July 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you and Intros.at Ltd, a company incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 09343609, whose registered office is at 2 Leman Street, London, United Kingdom, E1W 9US, governing your access to and use of eventskills.ai (the "Site" or "Directory").
Before you start
By creating an account, uploading a skill, or downloading a skill, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Directory.
If you use the Directory on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation, and "you" means both you and that organisation.
Please read sections 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14 carefully. They explain that files are unvetted community content, that you run them entirely at your own risk, that our liability to you is strictly limited, and that you indemnify us for what you upload and what you run.
1. What the Directory is
eventskills.ai is a free, account-gated directory where users upload and download skills (from hereon known as "files"), packaged instruction files intended to be executed by AI agents and similar tools, generally relating to the events industry.
We provide hosting, search, an account system and a download gate. That is all we do. We are a neutral conduit and host for user-submitted files. We are not the author, publisher, reviewer, tester, certifier, endorser, distributor or warrantor of any skill in the Directory.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- 2.1 You must be 18 or older to create an account.
- 2.2 You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
- 2.3 You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@eventskills.ai if you suspect unauthorised access.
- 2.4 One account per person. Do not create accounts to evade a suspension, and do not share, sell or transfer your account.
- 2.5 You may not use the Directory if you are located in, or ordinarily resident in, a country subject to comprehensive UK, EU or US sanctions, or if you are on a restricted-party list.
3. The Directory is community-contributed and unvetted
- 3.1 Files are uploaded by other users. We do not review, audit, test, endorse, certify, rank for quality, or guarantee any skill or any claim made about a skill.
- 3.2 Automated checks on upload are limited to file type and size validation and a basic static scan for common red flags. These are anti-abuse hygiene measures only. They are not a security review, a malware scan, a code audit or a quality assessment, and you must not treat a successful upload or a clean scan result as any form of approval by us.
- 3.3 Download counts, stars, badges, categories and search ranking are descriptive signals generated by user behaviour. They are not endorsements or safety indicators.
- 3.4 Descriptions, documentation, licence declarations and author identities are supplied by the uploading user and are not verified by us.
- 3.5 Everything in the Directory is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. See section 12.
4. Your uploads
4.1 You keep ownership. You retain all intellectual property rights in what you upload.
4.2 Licence to us. You grant Intros.at Ltd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable (to our hosting and delivery providers only) licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for format and technical delivery purposes, publicly display and distribute your skill and its metadata through the Directory, for as long as it is published, and to retain it in backups for the period stated in our Privacy Policy.
4.3 Licence to other users. Every skill must carry a licence. Other users receive your skill under the licence you select, and you are responsible for that licence being accurate and for having the right to grant it.
4.4 You warrant that, for everything you upload:
(a) you own it or have all rights and permissions needed to upload and license it; (b) it does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, confidentiality, privacy or other rights; (c) it contains no malware, backdoor, logic bomb, credential harvester, data exfiltration routine, hidden network call, obfuscated instruction, prompt injection payload or other covert or destructive functionality; (d) it contains no personal data, credentials, API keys, secrets, attendee or delegate lists, or confidential information belonging to you or anyone else; (e) its description, documentation and stated capabilities are accurate and not misleading, and it discloses every external system, API or credential it requires; (f) it complies with the terms of service of any third-party platform or API it interacts with; and (g) it complies with all applicable law and with our Acceptable Use Policy.
4.5 You are the publisher. You are solely responsible for your skill and for any harm it causes to any person, organisation, event or system.
4.6 No obligation to host. We may decline, delay, unlist or remove any upload at our discretion, and we are not obliged to preserve or return your content. Keep your own copies.
5. Downloading and running files, your responsibilities
5.1 You run files entirely at your own risk. Execution happens on your systems, under your control, outside anything we operate or observe.
5.2 A skill is a set of instructions given to an AI agent that may hold access to your files, credentials, email, event platform, CRM and other connected systems. A skill can cause an agent to read, alter, transmit, publish or permanently delete data; to contact your attendees, exhibitors, sponsors or customers; to spend money; or to take other irreversible actions. Harm may extend to people who are not you, including your event attendees and your clients.
5.3 Before you run any skill, you must:
(a) read and understand its contents; (b) satisfy yourself it is safe and fit for your purpose; (c) test it in a sandbox or non-production environment; (d) grant it the narrowest credentials and permissions that will work; (e) apply human review before it takes any irreversible or externally visible action; and (f) confirm your use complies with the skill's licence, with applicable law, and with the terms of every platform it touches.
5.4 Data protection. If a skill processes personal data, attendee records, delegate lists, badge scans, lead data, matchmaking data or anything similar, you are the controller of that processing. You are responsible for your lawful basis, your privacy notices, your data processing agreements with clients, any international transfer, any resulting security incident, and any regulatory consequence. Intros.at Ltd is not your processor for that activity and has no visibility of it.
5.5 Third-party events and systems. If your use of a skill affects an event, a client or a system belonging to someone else, that is between you and them. You must have their authorisation. We are not a party to that relationship and accept no responsibility for it.
5.6 No support. We provide no support, maintenance, bug fixes or security patches for any skill. Files may be abandoned, broken, out of date or incompatible at any time.
6. AI agent behaviour
- 6.1 We do not control, direct, supervise or predict the behaviour of AI agents, language models or other software that executes files obtained from the Directory.
- 6.2 AI systems are non-deterministic. The same skill may behave differently on different runs, in different tools, with different models, or with different data. A skill that behaved safely once may not behave safely again.
- 6.3 Files may contain, or may be manipulated by, prompt injection: instructions that cause an agent to act contrary to your intentions. This risk cannot be eliminated by us or by anyone.
- 6.4 Intros.at Ltd bears no responsibility whatsoever for any decision, output, action, omission or consequence arising from an AI system's execution of a skill obtained from the Directory. You are solely responsible for implementing appropriate safeguards, permission scoping, monitoring and human oversight.
7. Relationship to Grip: no association, no endorsement, no contract
- 7.1 Intros.at Ltd also operates the Grip event platform. eventskills.ai is a separate service and is not part of, integrated with, or covered by the Grip product.
- 7.2 No skill in the Directory is created, reviewed, tested, approved, certified, supported or endorsed by Grip, including any skill that names Grip, integrates with Grip, or claims Grip compatibility. Appearance in the Directory implies nothing about a skill's fitness for use with Grip or any other platform.
- 7.3 An Eventskills.ai account is not a Grip account and creates no rights, entitlements, service levels, warranties or support obligations under any Grip agreement.
- 7.4 If you are a Grip customer, your Grip contract governs your Grip data and your Grip service, not these Terms. Nothing here varies, extends or reduces that contract. Equally, nothing in your Grip contract, including any warranty, SLA, indemnity, support commitment or liability provision, applies to your use of eventskills.ai or to any skill you obtain here.
- 7.5 If a skill you obtain here causes damage to your Grip instance, your Grip data, or your event, that is not a Grip service failure and is not covered by your Grip agreement.
- 7.6 Uploading a skill that references Grip does not grant you any licence to use Grip's trade marks, branding or intellectual property, and does not make you a Grip partner, reseller or affiliate.
8. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- upload or distribute malware, spyware, credential harvesters, exfiltration routines, destructive scripts or covert functionality of any kind;
- upload content that infringes intellectual property, breaches confidentiality, or contains anyone's personal data;
- upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, deceptive or designed to facilitate fraud, spam, scraping in breach of terms, or unauthorised access to any system;
- misrepresent authorship, provenance, licensing, safety or capability;
- use the Directory to attack, probe, overload, reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or circumvent rate limits, the download gate or any access control;
- create false accounts, manipulate download counts, stars or reports, or evade moderation;
- use the Directory to build a competing directory from our data; or
- assist anyone else in doing any of the above.
Our Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these Terms.
9. Moderation, reporting and takedown
- 9.1 We may unlist, remove, restrict or restore any skill, and suspend or terminate any account, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, including where we believe content is unsafe, unlawful, infringing, deceptive or in breach of these Terms.
- 9.2 A skill is automatically unlisted when two independent verified users report it. Automatic unlisting is a precaution, not a finding of wrongdoing.
- 9.3 We will notify the author when their skill is unlisted or removed, and the author may appeal to legal@eventskills.ai.
- 9.4 We have no obligation to monitor. We do not proactively review uploads, and nothing in this section creates a duty to detect, prevent or remove harmful content. Our exercise of moderation rights does not make us the publisher of user content, does not create any duty of care towards downloaders, and does not waive the protections available to us as a hosting provider under applicable law, including the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 and the Online Safety Act 2023 where relevant.
- 9.5 Intellectual property complaints. If you believe a skill infringes your rights, email legal@eventskills.ai with: identification of the work, the URL of the skill, your contact details, a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorised, and a statement that your notice is accurate. We will act on valid notices promptly. We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
- 9.6 Security reports. Report a malicious or vulnerable skill to legal@eventskills.ai. Do not test vulnerabilities against other users' systems.
10. Our intellectual property
The Site itself, its software, design, structure, database, branding and the eventskills.ai and Grip names and logos, is owned by Intros.at Ltd or its licensors. These Terms grant you no rights in it beyond ordinary use of the Directory. You may not copy, scrape, frame or reuse the Site or its compiled data without our written consent.
11. Availability and changes to the service
The Directory is free and provided without any service level, uptime commitment or availability guarantee. We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue the Directory or any part of it, permanently or temporarily, at any time and without liability. If we discontinue the Directory we will use reasonable efforts to give registered users advance notice and an opportunity to export their content.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DIRECTORY AND ALL FILES AND CONTENT AVAILABLE THROUGH IT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITH ALL FAULTS, AND WITHOUT WARRANTY, CONDITION OR REPRESENTATION OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY.
WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF SATISFACTORY QUALITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE ABOVE, WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT: ANY SKILL IS SAFE, FUNCTIONAL, ACCURATE, SECURE, FREE OF MALICIOUS CODE, CORRECTLY LICENSED, COMPATIBLE WITH ANY SYSTEM, OR FIT FOR ANY PURPOSE; THAT ANY DESCRIPTION OR LICENCE DECLARATION IS TRUTHFUL; THAT ANY AI SYSTEM WILL EXECUTE A SKILL AS INTENDED; OR THAT THE DIRECTORY WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded, including the statutory rights of consumers.
13. Limitation of liability
13.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law; or, for consumers, your non-excludable statutory rights.
13.2 Subject to 13.1, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Intros.at Ltd, its group companies, directors, employees and agents shall not be liable to you, in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, for:
(a) any loss or damage arising from downloading, installing, executing, relying on, or being unable to use any skill; (b) any act, omission, output or decision of any AI agent or software that executes a skill; (c) loss, corruption, disclosure, unauthorised access to, or destruction of any data, including attendee, delegate, exhibitor, sponsor or customer data; (d) any impact on, disruption to, cancellation of, or damage to any event, whether yours or a third party's; (e) any claim brought against you by an event client, attendee, data subject, platform or regulator; (f) any regulatory fine, penalty, investigation cost or data protection enforcement action; (g) any conduct, content, misrepresentation or infringement by another user; (h) loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, opportunity, goodwill, reputation or anticipated savings; (i) any indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive loss; or (j) unavailability of, or changes to, the Directory.
13.3 Cap. Subject to 13.1, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms and your use of the Directory, however arising, shall not exceed one hundred pounds sterling (GBP 100). You acknowledge that the Directory is provided free of charge and that this cap is reasonable in that context.
13.4 These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability and even if we were advised of the possibility of the loss. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions, in which case our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted there.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Intros.at Ltd, its group companies (including the Grip business), and their directors, employees and agents against all claims, demands, proceedings, liabilities, damages, losses, regulatory fines and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
(a) any skill you upload, including any harm it causes to any person, organisation, event or system; (b) any breach of your warranties in section 4; (c) your use or execution of any skill, including any effect on a third party's event, systems or data; (d) your processing of personal data in connection with the Directory or any skill; (e) your breach of these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or any applicable law; or (f) your infringement of any third-party right.
This indemnity survives termination. It does not apply to a consumer to the extent that applicable consumer protection law prohibits it.
15. Termination
- 15.1 You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion is reversible for 14 days, during which your files are unlisted. After 14 days, deletion is permanent. Individual skills you delete follow the same 14-day reversible window in your Trash.
- 15.2 We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, with or without notice, for any breach of these Terms, for conduct we consider harmful to users or to us, or where required by law.
- 15.3 On termination, your right to use the Directory ends. Unlisting removes a skill from the Directory but does not recall copies already downloaded, and licences already granted to downloaders under your chosen licence terms continue according to those terms.
- 15.4 Sections 4.2 (to the extent needed for backups), 4.4, 4.5, 5, 6, 7, 9.4, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15.3, 16, 17 and 18 survive termination.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
- 16.1 These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes) are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- 16.2 The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the EEA or Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your country of residence, and you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections there.
- 16.3 Informal resolution first. Before starting proceedings, you agree to contact us at legal@eventskills.ai and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
- 16.4 To the fullest extent permitted by law, disputes will be resolved individually and not as part of any class, collective or representative action.
17. General
- 17.1 Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Acceptable Use Policy and the Cookie Policy are the entire agreement between us regarding the Directory and supersede any prior understanding. You confirm you have not relied on any statement not set out in them.
- 17.2 Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, it is severed and the rest remains in force.
- 17.3 No waiver. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
- 17.4 Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them on notice, including in connection with a reorganisation, merger or sale of assets.
- 17.5 Third parties. Except for our group companies and their personnel, who may enforce sections 7, 12, 13 and 14, no third party may enforce these Terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
- 17.6 Force majeure. We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
- 17.7 No agency. Nothing here creates a partnership, joint venture, agency or employment relationship between us.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email to registered users and by updating the "last updated" date, and will take effect no earlier than 14 days after notice unless a shorter period is required by law or safety. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept, delete your account.
